As with most Dove release companies, the Doves we use are referred to as Rock Doves or White Pigeons. These birds have the homing instinct of a Pigeon with the dignified beauty of a Dove.
Our birds are kept in superb condition and trained on a daily basis to ensure that they always find their way home. They have a nutritionally balanced diet and live in a comfortable Aviary where they have their own nesting boxes for breeding and a large outside area. All of the birds are free to fly in and out everyday and generally do so, unless they are tending to their young.
As most of these birds have been with us since birth they are very precious to us and every effort is taken to ensure they receive the highest standard of care.
